  • Coaching is a collaborative process where a trained coach helps you identify and achieve personal or professional goals. It's about increasing your self-awareness, creating different/better approaches to obstacles and unlocking your potential. Through regular sessions, we'll work together to clarify your vision, explore options, and take actionable steps towards your desired future.

  • While both coaching and therapy can facilitate personal development, they differ in focus and methodology. Therapy often deals with healing and understanding past traumas or psychological issues. In contrast, coaching is action-oriented and focused on your present and future. It's about setting goals, creating outcomes, and managing personal change.

  • In a coaching session, you can expect a supportive and non-judgmental environment. We'll discuss your current situation, challenges, and goals. The session is a space for reflection, discovery, and action planning. You'll be asked questions that challenge you to think deeply and differently, and you'll leave with clear steps to move forward.

  • The duration of the coaching process varies depending on your individual goals and needs. Some clients see significant change in just a few sessions, while others prefer ongoing support. Typically, we recommend starting with a series of sessions (e.g., 6-12) to allow time for development and progress.

  • Coaching can help with a wide range of goals, including career advancement, personal development, relationship improvement, work-life balance, health and wellness, and more. Whatever your aspirations, coaching provides a framework to achieve them.

  • Absolutely. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of the coaching relationship. What we discuss in sessions will remain private, providing a safe space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. A confidentiality clause will be clearly laid out in our Coaching Agreement and is a critical part of the ICF code of ethics.

  • It's helpful to come with an idea of what you'd like to focus on, but it's not essential to have a fully fleshed out goal. Before your first session, I'll provide some guidance on how to prepare and what to think about. The most important thing is to come with an open mind and a willingness to engage in the process.
